ordered top to bottom by distance from camera. all photos traced with white

each photo was cropped around a selected subject and tiled across a 10in x 10in layer.

each layer’s blending was altered based on the strongest aesthetic reaction.

the compilation of layers was rearranged in 25 different ways; each of these modifications was saved as a jpg and tiled again on a 50 x 50 in canvas.

from here, the tiles are organized by their average luminosities.

Imagine it has vary of different categories to revolve a circle, and ordering each column by proportion.

greytones. lightest to darkest scaled to same size

• batch process 100 thumbnails (cut a 200x200 pixel section of bottom right corner)
• place them into a 2000 x 2000 pixel blank photoshop file, in order of file name and general color (everytime a color runs out you start at the top of the file list)
• resize entire image to 50 x 50 pixels, save as jpg file, close file
• open 50x50jpg file, resize to 200 x 200 px, save as jpg file
